announces a competition for the position:
Technical specialist in the Department of Vertebrate Zoology
Project number: UMO-2022/47/B/HS3/02856
Title: “The strategy of human existence in the transitional period from the middle to the upper Paleolithic in the Western Carpathians”
Project manager: dr hab. Jarosław Wilczyński (ORCID 0000-0002-9786-0693)
1. Requirements:
- documented participation in field research, in particular involving surveys of senior Stone Age sites;
- experience in working with antique and osteological material, covering the remains of various groups of animals;
- experience in performing the description and documentation of stone monuments;
- knowledge of Polish required for work with documentation kept in Polish;
- knowledge of English in speech and writing.
2. Additional requirements (as assessed):
- independence and good organization of own work;
- the ability to cooperate and communicative;
- high personal culture.
3. Scope of duties:
- carrying out the necessary work on the NCN OPUS UMO-2022/47/B/HS3/02856 carried out in the Department of Vertebrate Zoology;
- participation in the work in the collection of the Plant, with particular emphasis on materials obtained during the research of the position of the Bat Cave and the Szeleta Cave;
- participation in organizational and popularization activities;
- participation in the training of employees, trainees and apprentices.

5. Working conditions:
- working time: 1 full-time;

6. Required documents:
- application for employment addressed to the Director of ISEZ PAN (cover letter);
- CV with information on the current course of employment
- a personal questionnaire for the applicant
- copies of documents certifying education, additional qualifications, professional experience;
- a declaration of non-criminality (at the time of conclusion of the contract, a current certificate from the National Criminal Register will be required in the scope of offences specified in Chapters XIX and XXV of the Criminal Code, in Article 189a and Art. 207 of the Criminal Code and in the Act of 29 July 2005 on counteracting drug addiction (Journal of Laws No. U. from 2023, item 1939), or for prohibited acts specified in the provisions of foreign law responsible for these crimes);
- signed consent to the processing of personal data.
In the case of employment, the candidate will be obliged to submit the original documents to the employer for inspection.
