Experimental Zoology.

Research projects, carried out in the Department of Experimental Zoology, are concentrated on the following subjects:
   Karyosystematics and cytogenetics of insects (Coleoptera, Homoptera, Orthoptera);
   Zoogeography and genetics of the Paramecium aurelia species complex;
   Cytophysiological studies in the Paramecium aurelia complex applying microsurgery techniques.
